To get the most accurate and reliable results from Mailparser, we recommend creating a dedicated inbox for each unique type of email you want to parse. Here's why:
Each Mailparser inbox is configured with its own specific set of parsing rules. These rules are carefully tailored to the structure - or layout - of the emails it receives. If an inbox is used to process different types of emails with varying formats, the parsing rules can become inconsistent, leading to errors or incomplete data extraction.
By type of email we’re referring to the format and structure of the message. In most cases, a single source consistently sends emails in the same layout. For example:
-
Order confirmations from your e-commerce platform
-
New lead notifications from your CRM or lead provider
-
Shipping updates from a logistics partner
-
Appointment requests from a booking system
Using one inbox per email type ensures each set of rules is optimized for the specific layout, improving accuracy and minimizing the need for manual adjustments. If your email workflows involve multiple sources or formats, simply create a new inbox for each. This keeps everything running smoothly and allows Mailparser to do what it does best -automate your data extraction with precision.
