Yes! Mailparser allows you to use alias email addresses to route incoming emails to multiple inboxes.
To get started, click on the Routing option in the left-hand navigation menu.
What are alias email addresses?
Alias email addresses act as a single entry point for your emails.
When an email is sent to an alias address, it can be automatically forwarded to multiple Mailparser inboxes. For example, if you connect three inboxes to one alias, every email sent to that alias will appear in all three inboxes.
Why use an alias address?
This feature is especially useful if you receive emails from multiple sources but want to centralise everything into one address.
Instead of managing multiple forwarding rules externally, you can:
- Send all emails to one alias address
- Let Mailparser distribute them to the correct inboxes
- Parse each email based on its specific format or purpose
Using alias addresses with conditions
Alias addresses become even more powerful when combined with inbox conditions.
After creating an alias:
- Set routing to Selected Inboxes
- Choose which inboxes should receive emails
- Enable each inbox by setting it to Activated
- Click on Conditions to define rules
You can create rules such as:
- Only accept emails with specific words in the subject
- Filter based on sender or content
- Route emails depending on keywords
This allows you to build a flexible and intelligent email routing system that directs each email to the right inbox automatically.
