You can archive/deactivate inboxes in Mailparser when you want to keep their data and parsing rules but don’t need them actively processing emails. Archiving is a great way to pause unused inboxes without deleting their setup.
What Happens When You Archive an Inbox
When you archive an inbox:
It is fully deactivated — it will no longer receive incoming emails.
It will stop consuming processing credits.
All your parsing rules, settings, and parsed data remain safely stored.
You can reactivate it at any time if you need to start using it again.
Archiving is ideal for seasonal inboxes, paused projects, or test setups you want to keep for later.
How to Archive an Inbox
Go to your Inbox page.
Locate the inbox you want to archive.
Hover over the inbox and select the Archive icon.
Confirm your choice.
The inbox will move to the Archived category.
To view or restore archived inboxes, open the drop-down menu at the top of the page and select Archived.
Archive vs. Hide
Archive: Deactivates the inbox — no new emails or credit use, but rules and data are preserved.
Hide: Keeps the inbox active and processing but removes it from your main view for tidiness.
