When creating a download file in Mailparser, you can control exactly which emails are included. This is done by selecting a predefined range or filter.
Available email selection options
You can choose from several time-based and quantity-based filters:
Time-based options
- Emails received today, this week, or this month
- Emails received yesterday, last week, or last month
- Emails received in the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days
- Emails received two days, two weeks, or two months ago
Quantity-based options
- The last 100, 1,000, or 10,000 emails received
Dynamic option
- Emails received since the last download
These options allow you to generate files tailored to your workflow, whether you need recent data, historical snapshots, or incremental updates.
Important notes
- Mailparser is designed as a data processing tool, not long-term storage. You should regularly download and store your parsed data externally.
- Data retention settings will automatically delete older emails. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered.
