A parsing rule is a set of instructions that can be created to tell our system where to look for your data, whether the data is in the body of the email or contained within a text-readable email attachment.
Typically parsing rules are created to target specific fields or data points within your emails (e.g. a tracking number, customer name, post address, etc.), however, parsing rules can also extract entire tables of data. Isolating and extracting the data you need can be done so through the addition of filters that tell our system which fields to use or even specific patterns to look for. Additional filters are available to help refine your output and avoid any extraneous information.
Take a look at our screencast below to follow along and get started on making your own parsing rules!
